Our Physicians


Wilson Almonte, M.D.

Dr. Almonte has been practicing in the southeast Texas area since 2013. He completed his undergraduate education at New York University, followed by his medical degree at Penn State University College of Medicine, and went on to complete his residency in anesthesiology at Montefiore Medical Center, the University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then completed a fellowship in pain medicine at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He is board certified in both Pain Management and Anesthesiology by The American Board of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Almonte believes in a more holistic approach to pain management and works to explore the most effective avenues in dealing with each patient’s particular ailments. He believes in remaining at the cutting edge of pain management technology and strives daily to provide optimal and personalized care for each of his patients.

Ted Lin, M.D.


Dr. Lin has been practicing in the greater Houston area since 2013. He attended The University of Texas at Austin, followed by medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He completed his anesthesiology residency and pain management fellowship at The University of Texas Medical Branch.

Dr. Lin individualizes his approach to each patient’s pain condition to not only manage their pain symptoms but work to alleviate the underlying cause. Utilizing a multi-modal approach to pain management, he works with each patient to achieve pain management and improved function.

Dr. Lin shares our mindset of providing excellent patient-centered care and tailoring plans to fit each individual patient while maintaining the high standards that our patients are used to.


Our Non-Physician Practitioners


Ms. Patricia Levien, FNP

Ms. Levien was born and raised in Refugio, TX. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Ms. Pat worked in a hospital setting including as a charge nurse for 21 years. She obtained her BSN and MSN degrees from Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi. She enjoys working in Pain Medicine because it is challenging and rewarding at the same time.

 

Ms. Lariann Moreno, PA-C

Ms. Moreno is a certified physician assistant. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, and went on to obtain her graduate degree from Touro University of New York. She comes to us with 20 years of practice in the field of Internal Medicine, Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery. In her free time she enjoys spending time on her ranch and with her family. 


Our Physical Therapy Team


Mary Beth Fuller, PT DPT

We are excited to announce that Mary Beth Fuller, PT DPT has joined our Physical Therapy team full-time at Victoria Pain and Rehabilitation Center. Mary Beth is a licensed physical therapist, who obtained her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in Biomedical Science. She then completed her Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Mary Beth brings over a decade of physical therapy experience and has completed extensive training in many manual therapy techniques, especially in treatment of spinal conditions. She believes in a very hands-on approach with treatment of her patients. While not working, Mary Beth enjoys spending time with her husband and four children playing sports, hunting, fishing, and many other outdoor activities.
 

 

 

Candace Garcia, PTA

Candace graduated from Victoria College in 2012, where she also taught in the PTA program as an adjunct professor until recently. She has knowledge of KT taping for pain relief and muscle imbalances, and is certified to administer LSVT BiG therapy. Parkinson’s Disease is near to her heart and she enjoys watching Parkinson’s patients make functional gains with BIG therapy. When she is not teaching or treating patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
